英語科特進コースにオーストリアからの長期留学生が在籍しています！

今年度9月より、1年間の長期留学生マイケ・アルカンゲルさんが英語科特進コース1年に在籍しています。オーストリア出身のマイケさんはドイツ語を母語として、他にスペイン語・英語・フランス語を話します。とても意欲的で様々なことに挑戦するなど、クラスメイトにとっても良い刺激となっています！マイケさんの成長が、とても楽しみです。

以下、マイケさんのメッセージです。

My name is Maike Arcangel and I am from Austria. I will stay one year at Kyoai High school as an exchange Student.
I am very happy to be at this school and I appreciate their effort to make my stay as pleasant as possible. My class is also very friendly and I am glad to have so many nice people around me.

At Kyoai High school I joined the Sado Club, the Koto club and the Kyudo Club. They are all very interesting and a good way to learn about Japanese Culture. It was hard to decide which Club to join but I am happy with my choice.

At first, it was difficult for me to talk to the people here but they were really nice to me and made me feel welcomed. They are doing their best to talk to me in English to make it easier for me but I really want to try my best too and improve my Japanese skills.

Japanese is very different from my mother tongue and so is the Culture. I enjoy getting to know it more and more every day. For example one day I went to see a Kabuki show with my host family and it was very interesting. The costumes looked great and the actors were excellent.

I also enjoy trying Japanese food and I really like it too. There are so many delicious dishes that I cannot decide which one is my favorite. There is also a lot I have not tried yet so I want to try as much Japanese food as possible.

I also want to see more of Japan and visit different places.

I hope I will have a good year with my family and classmates and I hope I can make friends here too.

オーストリアから来た、マイケ・アルカンゲルといいます。交換留学生として、共愛学園高校で1年間勉強をします。

周囲の皆さんのご厚意に支えられて、共愛で勉強できることがとても幸せです。また、私のクラスはとても親しみがもてる雰囲気で、素敵な人たちと一緒にいられることが本当に嬉しいです。

部活動は茶道部、筝曲部、弓道部に所属しています。どれも楽しくて、日本の文化を知るためには良い経験が出来ていると感じます。どの部活に所属しようか悩みましたが、これらを選んで良かったです。

来日当初は皆さんとお話しすることに難しさを覚えましたが、皆さんがとてもよくしてくださり、温かく迎えられていることを実感しました。意味が伝わるように英語を用いて話してくださることもありますが、日本語をもっと勉強して日本語でお伝えできたらと願っています。

日本語は私の母語とは全く違いますし、文化も違います。その違いを知ることが楽しく感じる日々です。先日私のホストファミリーが歌舞伎を見に連れて行ってくれましたが、とても興味深く感じました。衣装も豪華で、歌舞伎役者の演技が素晴らしかったです。

日本食にも挑戦中ですが、どれも本当に美味しくて1番好きなものを決めるのも難しいくらいです。まだまだ食していない日本食もあるので、これからどんどん挑戦していきたいです。そしていろいろな場所も訪れてみたいです。

ホストファミリーや友達と、素晴らしい1年間を過ごせるよう、また更に多くの方々とここで友達になりたいです。どうぞよろしくお願いします。
